yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I placed 2nd in my company's SCAA regulation Barista Competition after starting as a barista two months earlier. Next time portafilter trophy, next time...... :)

I am also the head trainer for three of our stores (located in the Dorothy lane Market stores). :)
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would really love to experience this country from a barista's pov. I want to go to all of the big coffee cities and see what they have to offer. I would also love to go to different plantations, rosteries and coffee houses throughout the globe :)
About Me:
HI!! I have been a barista for almost a year and I work at Boston Stoker (Dayton's Gourmet Coffee Roaster). I love my job and use it to finance my other passion, costume design. Before I became a barista, I didn't know anything about coffee, let alone any sense of the coffee culture. I just knew, at the age of about 11, that I wanted to work in a coffee shop.

I enjoy movies, music, good company and a good grind. I am very outgoing and, as my boss calls me, boisterous. I love to laugh and enjoy spending time amongst my fellow humans. However, sometimes I like to just sit and read a book for hours or enjoy a long bath on a weekend afternoon. :)
About My Company:
Boston Stoker started in 1973 as a cigar, pipe and tobacco shop. The Deans began to serve gourmet coffee to cigar shop customers as a free service, to entice customers to hang out longer. By 1979, we had made the switch to selling beans. We ship the green beans to our warehouse in Dayton and roast them ourselves to insure freshness of product and satisfaction of customers. We have expanded from one location to nine since our beginning.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The coffee culture and the people in it
