I've played home barista/coffee enthusiast for so long and have learned so much just on my own. But now I have finally begun to truly integrate myself into the amazing world of coffee with roasting, terminology, and techniques etc...Within the next year I intend to open a coffee shop! --> ok, so I haven't opened the coffee shop yet, but I've started a coffee club called Jitterz Cafe in Tampa. We've hosted several coffee, cigar and wine events. www.JitterzCafe.com

About Me:
I love coffee more than words can say! Every organization or company I join, I make sure we have "Coffee Shop" time to discuss ideas and to share great taste!

I enjoy a nice maduro with a bold cup of bunna.
About My Company:
I have recently launched Jitterz Café, a special interest coffee club, whose primary goal is to combine all of the elements of the coffee culture: coffee, art, cigars, wine, music, great food, and a social atmosphere. There are not places or any established organization in the Tampa Bay area that combines these elements of a true coffee culture. One of Jitterz' ultimate goals that we offer and will continue to do, is offer FRESH ROASTED COFFEE all of the time. Coffee is roasted 1-2 days before all Jitterz events (or it may be roasted the same day, all depending on the natural characteristics of the bean). If you are a coffee enthusiast, cigar lover, wine enthusiast, or love anything of the coffee culture, please join Jitterz. Right now we are located in Tampa, Florida. Some day soon, we will branch out!

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The taste, the culture, and the events!

December Review

New Year, New People in my Life, but Coffee is still my “Main Squeeze.” As I dive deeper into the wonderful world of coffee, I find my eyes getting larger and larger with the excitement of a five year old child unwrapping her gifts on Christmas Day. From Jasmine-like aromas to distinct honeyed tastes, my coffee palate has begun to develop, and with a mind of its own, it lusts only after the very best...

November Review

Posted on December 27, 2008 at 1:35am 0 Comments

November’s Fall Jam took our members on a journey from Ethiopia to Yemen. The carefully selected cherries of the Ethiopia Organic DP - Dale Yirga Alem had a bold berry intensity with hints of melon and fruit. Our Ethiopia Organic Natural Djimma WP Decaf, not your average tasting decaf, stole the spotlight with its medium body and wild-honeyed tastes. It was such an amazing decaf, that when I special roasted this for my mother on Thanksgiving (also a coffee enthusiast, however she can no longer… Continue

Posted on September 13, 2008 at 12:02am 0 Comments

I am sooooo excited to say that I have now embarked on a new journey for myself - ROASTING COFFEE! I'm surprised that it has taken me so long to actually get down to it and do it, but I might say, I am VERY ecstatic about it! The very first roast was a little too much, but after the second roast, I was on a roll!! I was now ready to make my BIG DEBUT at my first Coffee Soiree for my newly established coffee club which featured Ethiopian Coffee and South African Wine while club members smoked… Continue
