I'm not a direct fit for a barista exchange as a green coffee importer/consultant, but I still keep up in the barista community as much as I can. I started as a barista in 1989, served on the SCAA Training Committee Espresso subcommittee for a number of years, and judge in barista competitions when possible.

I'm co-chair of the SCAA cupping subcommittee of the Training Committee currently and have volunteered on committees and boards throughout the years. I served as president at the international women's coffee alliance in 2007-2008.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All over; I have been fortunate to go a lot of places so far.
About Me:
I love this industry like most of us in it and I donate a lot of time to it outside of my job requirements, volunteering for events, teaching, training, etc..

In my other life, I'm a stage actor, performing and producing with my non-profit Theatre Company, Triple Shot Productions, in San Francisco, California.
About My Company:
Atlantic Specialty Coffee
we are green importers, selling specialty green across the US.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The people. It's an industry of very passionate people and I do everything I do with passion.

Just finished reading Part 1 of your article for ROAST on green buying. Wanted to write and thank you for the informative article and to also ask how you became a green buyer? Do you have a lot of roasting experience? New to the bx so sorry if you get asked this question a lot.

    Saludos from Mexico!
