Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I came to Boston Stoker as a novice and not really a big coffee fan, my parents where Maxwell House people. I started out part time and quickly decided that I loved being a barista. I adored the people who come into the stores, the people I work with and the smile a person gets on their face when you have made them their 'perfect' drink. I started as a barista with Boston Stoker, then I became a manager of a store within a year. After 4 years in the store I became the HR Manager. I love my job, the people around me, the owners, the company...everything. It is truly the best job I have ever had.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I would love to go to Europe especially Germany, Italy and Scotland.
About Me:
I am the mother of two great kids 17-b, 10-g. I am also the mommy of a 2 year old Terry-Schnauzer girl named Zoe...she is a coffee junky too.
I am an avid reader and I own a ridiculous amount of cookbooks, that I do use!
I also collect tea cups and tea pots.
I know have a little patchwork tabby kitten named Sophie! She is a coffee junky too, and pretty much anything else you have to eat...lol!
About My Company:
Boston Stoker has been around for 35 years. Owned by The Dean's (a wonderful couple to work for), it started out as a tobacco and pipe shop. To entice customers to hang around a while Mr. Dean started brewing specialty coffee. Before he knew it people were wanting to buy the coffee to take home. Today they are a thriving and growing business that has 9 retail stores, wholesale and a growing online mail order business. They roast their own coffees and you can be sure it is always fresh.
