Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I'm trying to understand the mechanics of espresso machines, and want to take classes.
I've been a barista for 2 or 3 years. Now I've finally had the freedom to create interesting drinks.
I want to start making whip-bottle concoctions, with fennel, mint-leaves, berries, and lavender from where I work.
I'm trying to master my latte art, and still haven't succeeded.

I'm a percussionist, who loves many different styles of music.
I work at The Blue Heron Bakery, in Olympia, WA.
I love coffee, and want to learn how to repair espresso machines and roast my own, small-batched coffee!!
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Shops that try to make coffee sustainable. Shop owners who have personal relationships with their farmers. Meeting people who can teach me, and open my mind up to new techniques.
