Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I work at The Curious Cup, a locally owned coffee shop located right outside of Boulder, CO. I've been there since it opened, and have really enjoyed watching and helping it grow! We just switched from The Unseen Bean, to Conscious Coffee. Conscious Coffee is organic, fair-trade, organic and delicious! I enjoy brightening people's days by making them coffee, especially with a flower, leaf, feather, or squiggly. I'm going to miss the atmosphere and the people when I move to Washington!

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I will be moving to Seattle, WA in about a month! Before I let my mind wander to far off places, I'm going to explore the Pacific Northwest.

About Me:

I will begin studying art history and business at the University of Washington this fall in hopes of working in the gallery/museum industry in the future. I interned at The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art the past year and it has been a very valuable experience. I love being surrounded by art, and I aspire to get into the business of dealing with it, and sharing it others. Being a barista has allowed me to interact with so many artistic people, and I am glad that coffee and art share many of the same community. I cannot wait to explore this community in Seattle!
