Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I started out like most of us do making frothy, 16oz cappuccinos and serving up some over cooked coffee. Through the years and different cert programs, I have truly honed in my coffee making skills. At the shop I currently manage I was responsible for changing our drip coffees to using the Pour-Over brewing method. We fashioned out a Pour-Over bar which matched the aesthetic of the store, and it's been a great success.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Honestly, anywhere. I've lived in Atlanta for almost 10 years now, and am a well seasoned traveler. I've been all over.
About Me:
I pretty easy going, charismatic and charming. I've got years of working in sales under my belt so it's easy to couple that with my coffee knowledge to guide the costumer to purchasing some whole beans that they like. Since taking over at my shop, I went through and make some deep cuts and changes that have affected the company in a highly positive way. New roaster, new teas, new food, the works. I am a photographer and a filmmaker but I have an almost equal passion for coffee. I am constantly fascinated at the way it's always in motion.
About My Company:
ParkGrounds is a coffee shop with an off-leash dog park attached to it. People can bring their pups up and let them run wild and play wile they sit on our large patio area and enjoy a fresh pour-over coffee or have a bowl of cold cereal from our large selection of your childhood. We also offer up hot and cold breakfast and lunch items, as well as a local organic chai, and teas from The Republic of Tea.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The fact that I can always learn more from the new people I meet.
