What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Definitely - Ethiopia. Here in Hawaii, we cannot import green bean coffee from Africa due to the Coffee Berry Disease (CBD). Another would be Panama or Indonesia. Any major Coffee Producing country i guess.
About Me:
I have been in the coffee industry for about 6 years. I have worked in many cafes in Honolulu as a Barista, Head Supervisor, Trainer and Head Roaster.
About My Company:
I have had so much fun wearing so many hats and finally had a chance to open a cafe here in Hawaii. The name of the cafe is "Downtown Coffee" and we have been open for about a month. I roast on a Diedrich IR-3 and do small batches to serve incredibly fresh coffee for drip and espresso.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The people out there who are as fanatical about coffee as I am.
