About Me:
After attending one of the Fresh Cup Road Shows, walking the floor and meeting the dedicated people at it, I realized that this was the industry I wanted to work in. I also saw a need for marketing people, but it was mostly the positive attitude of the people who form the industry that attracted me. I volunteered my services to WEBbeams and I am now the marketing manager with a new found appreciation for all the quality products I get to try at the trade shows which we attend and present at. (i.e. Coffee Fest, SCAA, and World Tea Expo)
About My Company:
We are a nationwide Wi-Fi provider that focuses on the needs of the independent and small chain or franchise cafés in coffee and tea. The company was started by Brian Van Lieshout (Business/Sales) and Chris Olson (Business/Tech) who hired my wife Ericka Rodriquez (Purchasing/Scheduling/Shipping/Sales/) to help grow the business. I signed on to do sales and marketing which means (1) to help educate owners on how Wi-Fi can help attract and maintain customers while still meeting physical & financial demands, and (2) to keep learning what those café owner needs and customer’s demands are so we can start back at (1). If you can’t tell - I love my job!
