Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I am new to the industry, but not lacking in enthusiasm and willingness to learn and expand my knowledge base. I was hired by Northern Light Espresso Bar in Scranton, PA in the summer of 2009, where we brew Gimme! coffee. I have been pulling shots since October and am always looking to gain more experience and expertise on the machine

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I am planning a coffee tour of NYC this New Year's eve. Other than that, I am open for anything

I am a college student, working towards earning my Elementary Education degree with ESL certification. I love to snowboard, longboard, rollerblade and run, but most all I love to read. I like jumping on the bed and hugging people I've just met.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Meeting new people and geeking out over espresso
