New barista with much to learn.. Received additional training at the Chicago Coffeefest.
My wife trained under Chris Deferio at the Coffee Institute and this was the best decision we made. I wish I had trained there also it was well worth the money….
Most of my past experience was with restaurant management. That has been a big help with the business part..
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Ireland, Honduras and any where that will enrich my coffee knowledge and connections
About Me:
I was an IT Manager and my wife a teacher of 15 years. You might say we have retired to a coffee shop. (it’s our fishing boat.)
I did spend about 20 years in the restaurant field prior to going to a cash register company then eventually to the computer field where I ended up managing the Support Center and Field Service Techs. (After doing both myself)
About My Company:
We are in the build out phase.. We are also hooked up with the coffee institute, World Alliance Coffees and the Honduras Coffee Company.
Right now we are set up in the doctor’s office next door making drinks for all the staff and surrounding shops.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Making people happy with an awesome drink..
