Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I am in love with manual Brewing. I cannot get enough of it. I hope sooner than later that we will have a manual brewing bar at our shop. Single-Origin coffees are a favorite always over blends. But I will always love me a small latte, when the feeling is right.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Really, Anywhere...I love to see the different cultures and meet different people from around the world.

About Me:

I am a Barista at Lucie Monroe's Specialty Coffee in Christiansburg, VA. I have grown a lot as a barista and have fallen in love with the bean. I am also a seminary student and hope to have coffee as a means of income which is great because I really enjoy my job. This is something I see myself doing in the long term as I strive to live a life of serving Jesus.

About My Company:

Lucie Monroe's Specialty Coffee is a year old this coming February. We have grown alot in a year as we seek to be the best coffeehouse in the NRV, VA. We want a standard to be set that is much higher than the majority of Coffeeshops and we want to see a coffee culture and community build in southwestern, VA.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Manual Brewing, Espresso, Education, and Community.
