    About Me:

I was a barista for a year and a half at a coffee shop that cared about there coffee, but I now realized didn't really know anything about coffee. After that I worked at a restaurant for awhile until I finished up my degree in accounting. After graduating I wanted to travel before I started working at an accounting firm. Before I left I started going to PT's coffee in Topeka, Kansas. From that point on I've been obsessed with coffee. I went to Norway and Sweden 3 months after I graduated to taste some of the best coffee in the world. That's what put me over the edge. I moved to Seattle in January to work for an accounting firm. What I was really doing was moving there for the coffee. I lived a block away from Victrola and only a couple blocks away from Stumptown and Vivace. After tax season I moved back to Topeka and started to work for PT's. I've fallen in love with coffee and can see myself working in it for the rest of my life.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

I love that the industry is always changing and that new things are always being discovered about coffee.
