About Me:
I'm interested in the social and community aspects of coffee and coffeehouses, and other third places. I also like a good cup of coffee ... the bigger and bolder the better.
About My Company:
I lead a team - Strands Labs Seattle - that that has created the community collage (CoCollage), a place-based social networking tool designed to cultivate community in cafes. Our parent company, Strands, is dedicated to helping people discover new things online; our lab is dedicated to bringing the richness of online social discovery into the physical spaces we share with others.
We currently have CoCollage running at four cafes in Seattle - Trabant, Neptune, Tougo and Kaladi Brothers - and are looking for other cafes with whom to partner for additional pilot sites (at no cost to owners).
