What is your position in the coffee industry?

    barista, manager, barista trainer

Where are you located? ( City and Country )

    Salt Lake City, UT

How many years have you been in the industry?

    4

If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?

    maybe

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I run a not-for-profit coffee shop, distributing the highest quality coffee whilst developing deep and meaningful relationships in order to love and serve others better.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

Any where in Africa: Uganda, Ethiopia, Egypt, Rwanda, Sudan, and South Africa. Misc: Israel, Costa Rica, Budapest, Poland, Scotland. U.S: Oregon, New York, Illinois, Washington. Many of these places I've been to I just don't get to them very often but love when I do.

    About Me:

My name is Jonathan Morrison, I am a full time student and a barista. I am studying Philosophy of Religion and hope to garner by Doctorate. My plan is to open a coffee shop here in Salt Lake City that would focus on music, art, and philosophy while at the same time increasing the level of coffee quality Utahns are used to. In a market that doesn't support our industry because of a people group who see coffee as a sin its more important than anywhere I believe to constantly have the edge.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

The coffee, the smell, the enviroment, the people, the process.
