Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Well I manage JavaCat-5, a coffee shop in the town of Emporia, KS. Given the mentality of the town its a pretty good shop, but we can't really get all the best equipment cuz people in this town are coffee retarded. Some day when my girlfriend graduates we're movin and I'll open my own place in a city that appreciates specialty coffee :) Nonetheless I've made the past 7 years my school and have extensively studied all aspects of coffee. I taught myself to do latte art and cup coffee. And have refined my skills as a barista.... of course it's not appreciated in this town but I've helped teach barista's in other towns latte art. I would love to compete some day or travel to origin but I have limited resources :(
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Pretty much any coffee producing country would be awesome to visit, but especially Ethiopia or Panama. I'd love to go to Seattle or Portland.
