Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have been working on the set-up of a student-run coffee shop on my campus at Concordia University. The project started with an idea, was put into a business plan, approved, and now work is being conducted to set up budgets, cash flows, and everything necessary to open a coffee shop. I have been in touch with Mike at Leelanau Coffee Roasting Co. Mike is planned to be our supplier and has been mentoring the process.
About Me:
I am a Junior Business Management Student with an entrepreneurship minor at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Mi. I play varsity soccer at Concordia and have been involved with Student Senate for the past two years. I have three semesters left at Concordia. Upon graduation I plan to start my own business, preferably in the coffee industry.
About My Company:
Cardinal Corner is a student-run coffee shop that is still in the start up phase at Concordia. It will be a full service shop withen a room in the Zimmerman Library.
