We have an energetic cafe surrounded by the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. During the summer tourist peak, the place just rocks!

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I really enjoy Europe. Would love to get back to Germany, Austria, and Belgium.

    About Me:

I discovered my first whole bean coffee in college in the early 1980s, and was hooked. My friend Steve began roasting in 1993 while I still held another job, but a few short years later I landed in this great industry. My specialty is helping folks open new cafes, from design to equipment and training, and of course, providing the best in specialty coffee :)

    About My Company:

Now in our 18th year, The Leelanau Coffee Roasting Company began in 1993, and has grown every year. We roast to order in a Sivetz fluid-bed hot air roaster, supplying cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores throughout the Great Lakes region. We also feature a robust mail order business which ships internationally. Our flagship cafe is a great place to sample and purchase our coffees, learn the craft of making espresso drinks, and of course just hang out with tourists and locals, soaking up the atmosphere and the energy. We also believe that wi-fi should always be free...but only for 30 minutes. Then, chat with your neighbor and make a new friend!
