    yes

Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

We have two shops. Blend Coffeehouse + Cafe is a small shop with a big heart that has been in business for six years. We are entrenched in the east Burnside neighborhood. We sell coffee, and all the traditional espresso drinks as well as bagel sandwiches. Blend Coffee Lounge is our new shop in north Portland. We have an extensive coffee menu that usually consists of four single origins, two blends and a decaf that we grind and brew by the cup. We also pull single origin espresso as well as a blend and a decaf.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

    Portland, Seattle, San Francisco.

    About Me:

My back ground is in advertising. When the bottom fell out after September 11 I had an opportunity to change career paths. Although I was making good money I just wasn't happy. That's when I decided to go into the coffee business. I have loved coffee shops since I was a teenager. I grew up with my friends in coffee shops, studied for tests in coffee shops, went on first dates in coffee shops, spent my lunch break in coffee shops. I can't begin to tell you how many memories I have in coffee shops. I love this business.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

Never a dull moment. Techniques and equipment are always evolving.
