Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I am roasting and still honing my skills as a roaster. I am able to free pour and etch latte art and am looking to become better and enter competitions.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere is interesting to me. I may find myself in L.A. For a few months (7+) within the next year and a half. Other than that who knows where my wife and I will end up.
About Me:
I am finishing up my masters degree and am looking to go on to doctorate level studies to become a professor. Coffee is a huge passion of mine and I plan to work as a Barista for most if not all of my life. My wife and I currently live in Cincinnati, Ohio.
About My Company:
Tazza Mia is a small locally owned coffee shop (now small chain of 5 shops) in the Cincinnati area. I work in the Westchester store which roasts for all of the other stores. All small batches of coffee roasted and almost always coffee less than a week or two old at all our stores. Great coffee (green beans come from coffee holding company Inc.) and good food. The owner was a home roaster and Barista for several years before starting it and really knows his stuff.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
I love the taste, diversity of flavor, and asthetic beauty of coffee and coffee beverages.
