lake near Banner Elk, NC, Blue Ridge Parkway

it was only 2pm, but the sky was super dark and cold in the Carolina mountains. I passed over this lake and saw the sun cracking through...the photo doesn't do it justice. I just stood and looked at this for at least 20 minutes. Amazing!
