I really love working alone. And while I have my solitude and independence, there are always customers to keep from feeling deprived of human contact. Except on days like yesterday.



Yesterday, I crawled out of bed and slapped two fried eggs between the slices of a day-old-day-old-day-old bagel. I felt like I was dead. I could not believe how tired I was. But I stumbled out of the house, hopped on my bike and took to the streets.

I love being the last one out of the shop. Last night I had just

left the shop when I remembered that I had left my cell phone charger

and, when I got back into the shop, I found myself surrounded by

slumbering beasts of burden. The GB5 squatted there on the

counter with its two eerily glowing oval eyes. The Clover

persistantly reminded me to "Stir in cleaner" while the water tower and

the Anfim peeked at me with their little red eyes. In the dark I

Last night I had a dream in which I went up in a spaceship to fix a
communication satellite. Unfortunately there was some delay so I
took the opportunity to read a good book, but first I looked out the
portal. I saw that there were somewhere around a dozen more
communication satellites scattered in orbit around the earth, and that
each one was shaped like a tamper with a base the size of Australia.

Weird.

Ahhhhh!!!! I don't know what I should do! I need to work on dialing in to the Brazil on the Clover, but this involves drinking a copious quantity of coffee and I can't find the bathroom key. Well, I suppose there's always the courtyard . . .
