- Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
- I was trained as a barista when I was sixteen. Tamping espresso was my first job, and I've worked at three different stores since then. I have been recently hired as the director of the coffee program at a new coffee shop, and this is my first foray into management of a program instead of taking direction. It's a whole new world; I'm pretty excited about delving in. Also, very intimidated! But the DC coffee scene is very welcoming.
- What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
- Anywhere! My dream job would be to work for a company like Counter Culture and visit coffee growers all over the world, particularly to Central America and various parts of Africa.
