- About Me:
- I have been a retail florist in Philadelphia (Germantown), PA since 1996, but my passion is promoting logo " Cup of Joe." I enjoy my morning cup of coffee. And one day I hope to become a barista, and create my own Signature coffee blend.
- About My Company:
- Around Mother's Day (1996), I woke up and decided to make flower arrangements in wicker baskets. I took six large arrangements to my job, and sold every one. Later that evening I contacted a local beauty shop, and took orders over the phone. Eureka! The orders came so fast I could hardly keep up with them. I knew then that designing flower's was a passion. My creativity expanded to designing gourmet gift baskets. Today, I enjoy promoting my "Cup of Joe" logo. I created the image because it depicts the struggle of many families in our global economy. No hardship can last forever. If we envision ourselves stepping out of the situation, we will find relief. The possibilities for reinventing ourselves are endless. Who can determine what future lies ahead. I chose the coffee & hospitality industries because they are universal. My Global quest is to bring " Joe " to the surface! Branding my logo symbolizes my effort to do so, and by reinvesting in other economies, I will promote the cause to end poverty and poor living conditions all over the world.
- What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
- My favorite thing about the coffee industry is its vast appeal. There are many venues where consumers are impacted by the coffee industry. From the café/restaurant owner, hotels, airport gift shops, international & local businesses, coffee can be brought straight to your table. Coffee lovers enjoy the rich, robust flavors of the coffee bean. Anywhere in the world, coffee is recognized as a soothing delight, and the industry is growing.
