I really like the style of this website: http://www.baristaempire.co.nz its for a small espresso bar and roastery in Auckland New Zealand.
I highly recommend www.sixeightkafe.co.uk :-).
I'm in the process of redesigning my own website www.mycoffeepro.com but I have to be careful because I've got a #1 position in Google for "coffee pro" ... so I'm trying to focus on graphics not content.
I really like a local roaster's new site, but I think the products page needs to be more substantive with the text being linked to descriptions at least: http://www.intazza.com/
My tips encompass my personal preferences for websites. Simple, fast and focused. I like sites to be clean and quick & easy to load into a browser. Many companies spend a lot of money on fancy and flash-y sites but truth be told, I really abhor flash sites.
To my mind, flash sites really are ego-driven things. Driven by egos of the owners and egos of the web designer. As a customer, I want to know the basics: address, phone number, hours of operation, menu - then maybe I'd like to know more About the place, or Press clippings or other stuff. But give me the first four items and I will reward your foresight with my patronage.
Here's the site we designed for Spro:
jay, out of curiosity--do you utilize that brick oven pictured on your site? if so, how?
thanks,

I too am in the middle of developing a website. It's hard to suggest sites, cause it's so preferential to everyone like Jay said.
I'm not sure I agree that flash sites are ego driven. Are some flash sites egotistical? yes, but I don't think all are. One of my fav's I've come across, is very well done, and I don't get that they're being egotistical. Grey House Coffee Of course that's probably just taste as well.
There is something to be said for simplicity, though. Even if someone where to choose flash. Too many sites just have to much going on.

Sage-
I avail myself of that brick oven once every blue moon as it's the oven in my friends restaurant. Most of our staff photos are shot outside of our shops.
Sorry for the confusion, it's not my site, just one I have found very nice.
And yes the bags too. Very good look and branding overall.
