I'm looking to purchase a LM and I'm confused about it's "dual boiler system" and the list of optional upgrades which includes" individual boilers and pumps" The price seems lower but the list of options is longer. This is from a vendor. Can some give me advice? Thanks for your time.

As far as I know, every machine LM makes is dual boiler. One for steam, one for brew. The option of individual pumps and boilers is for the Strada EP and as far as I know, nothing else. (Maybe they are offering it as an option on other machines now?) This would be news to me.
OK, so to take things a step back...
The standard system that most La Marzocco espresso machines out there use is the dual boiler system. This is the classic configuration. It works very, very well for most quality-oriented applications, and has for years. It is an exceptionally good choice.
For very demanding applications - where several different coffees (requiring different brew temperatures) will be used, or where pressure profiling is needed, the multiple pump/multiple boiler configuration may be preferred. Separate boilers gives you the ability to set the brew temp differently for each group. Separate pumps give you the ability to vary pump pressure during the shot without effecting shots being pulled on the other groups.
My thought on this is that you should go for the advanced features only if you plan to put the time into figuring out how to use them to make your coffees sing... and hire and train baristas that will do the same. It is a tool for master baristas. Most people don't need and won't use the extra functionality.
