Well, after a year of talking through it, our family is going to open a small drive-thru coffee shop in Oregon. Have the building, name and most of the equipment, working with the City now on the permits. We starting off with just the family working, have 4 girls, which is where the name came from,
"Bad Girls Coffee Company"
Want to say thanks to the long time members here, lots of good information posted.
Lots of work, but I think its going to be fun.

Congrats! Good Luck!
Wish you the best Good Luck
Awesome!
In case it isn't what you're going for, thought I'd quickly voice my opinion on the name:
If this isn't a bikini barista stand you're going to want to rethink the name because I immediately assumed it was and I'm sure many, many other people will as well.
Don't get me wrong, I wish you the best of luck, but if you're trying to NOT be thought of as a bikini barista stand you probably shouldn't use "Bad Girls" as the eye catching signage for those driving by.
Again, just my .02

I think the name does not "move the action forward". A little gimmicky. I would encourage you to reconsider . Being edgy is not always best. At least "Good Girl Coffee" has a spin that reflects a positive uplifting refreshing move forward element. I suspect disagreement but I do have a degree in marketing (so what!) and 20 years experience. And I mean not just putting out coffee BUT listening to customers.
As writing my response I had not seen your post. I was comforted that someone else had a take on their name. whew. sometimes tough to be straight forward. I agree with you.

Just wondering are you open and how are you doing.
Thanks Kathy, we are working on getting our Final inspections complete, and we hope to be open by the 22nd of August. We have our Machine installed and working, and our counters are finished. Should have our product delivered next week. Getting very close. I will post our opening information on our website; www.badgirlscoffee.com
Good looking setup.
One quick suggestion if you haven't done it already... put that pump motor up on something to get it off the floor. Maybe a wooden platform or even a concrete block with a rubber isolation mat (or an old tamping mat) on top to cut down on noise. That's $500 worth of pump and motor there, so worth keeping dry.
Thanks for the tip Brady, we added a block under the pump, and have finished the detail on the workstation, and installed a Filter. Ready to start training on Monday.
