HAVING TROUBLE WITH NS PORTAFILTERS, CAN ANYONE HELP

This is probably a dumb question but here goes. I just bought a new NS Aurelia and the portafilter baskets dont stay in the portafilters when I knock out the pucks. I know I am missing something obvious but can any of you techs out there help guide me as to what i am doing wrong. Am I supposed to do something to tighten the baskets to the portafilters?

I told you this would be a dumb question but my brain is failing.

Are the springs in the portafilter?
