Are you a good barista? If your two years barista experience is what it appears to be in your bio, chain experience at Charbucks & Sucksbys, then chances are you have about zero barista experience that would translate to my shop. Possibly some customer service skills, but would definitely need to know details of why you were discharged from Charbucks and why you quit Sucksbys. Both your side of the stories and need to hear their side of the stories.

OTOH if given 15 to 30 minutes or so to familarize yourself with my equipment (PID'd Linea and Mazzer Major grinders with timers, Reg Barber American Convex regular and short tampers provided if you don't have your own, but any serious barista ought to be going into an interview with their own tamper IMO) Anyway if you could then pull an excellent straight shot, make an excellent macchiatto and cappucino then maybe $10hr to start might be merited depending on the locale.

But, IF you made a caramel (latte) macchiato ala Charbucks and Sucksbys rather than a traditional macchiato when asked to make a macchiato, about all my experience questions would be answered and not in the affirmative.

It also appears your passion is music not coffee, nothing wrong with that. Just not a plus to me when hiring. Passion for coffee and music no problem of course, but sounds like your goal is to form a band and hit the road not make coffee even a short term career, just a temporary job.
