Hey folks, I'm working on my startup expenses sheet and I'm trying to figure out how to know how much dishware to order prior to opening. Any ideas? This will be a larger shop (probably 2000 sq. ft.)
Good luck with your opening. I ordered a dozen of each size. Unfortunately, I ordered Sengware and almost all of them chipped. In the process of ordering a different type.
I have a similar sized shop and we ordered 36-48 cup and saucer sets for each size we were offering. We bought 24 of each size for cold drinks, and just about 18 pastry plates and 18 sandwich plates (we really just use salad plates from a neighbor's china collection, and the dinner plates to match for sandwiches)
