Vita-Mix or Blendtec ??? Blender wars
Read everything about both, we've always used Vita-Mix... but all of a sudden I have this uncontrollable desire to blend my cell phone.

I've owned both, there is no comparison the Vita-Mix is by far the better built, more reliable machine. Any doubt just hold up the two different pitchers and look at the bottom. Our Vita-Mix has lasted twice as long as the Blendtec's we had.

The glow stick blending video is my personal favorite.

I feel like No 5... more input... more input... dated myself... that's an old movie... OK... two votes, both leaning to Vita-Mix...
According to reports the VM is 30% quieter than the BT...
Anybody else want to chime in?????

I have used both in the past and prefer the Vita-mix. Both are good quality, however, the Vita-mix allows you to replace the blade and components of the pitcher, where as the blendtec requires you to purchase the entire pitcher.
