with all my respect jason, i have bin in the business more than 10 years. and i was the distributer of philibert routin in lebanon in 1997 till 2000,from 2000 till 2002 i was distributor of davinci in lebanon and from 2002 till today i was working with monin and there's a reason behind this bcs it's amazing products.

anyway i respect your comments.
Thanks for the discussion guys. Now I'm going to go sample some different syrups at a couple different coffee shops in town to try and find a brand or brands for our cafe opening next month. I appreciate the tip on Monin, I'll have to try them out. Less sweet, more true flavor sounds perfect. c[_]
For what it's worth, we switched from Monin to the 1883 syrups several years ago because we liked them better. We had many customer compliments at the time. They didn't know why their drink tasted better, they just liked it better. Personally, I never put syrup in my own drinks, so what it comes down to is that I am not the right demographic to judge. If this is the case with you, I'd recommend that you bring along someone who buys nothing but flavored drinks to help you decide.
Finally we are open ,, and i got to try : Monin,Philibert Routin,Stacero,Davinci
and it wasnt hard to find the winner ,, it was Monin,,, there taste is balanced and there sweetness is acceptable for instance i will use 2cl of Monin Hazelnt syrup in my flavourd latte, and the result is sweet nuttiness, while it would take 4cl of Philibert routin to get no Nuts Flavours but rather than that getting a looooooot of suger,,Monin is realy goodAlex Galt said:
