I have a pretty eclectic resume, built up of both independent shops and corporate ones that I have been employed under. So, I've got a good idea of how both environments work.
I'll go just about anywhere; but I have worked at a couple shops that serve really sub-par coffees, and let the art and complexities of what coffee can be fall by the wayside--I'd like to avoid that if possible.
