At work there is an older 3 group LaMarzocco Linea. Due to city moratorium the machine drain can't be hard piped and is drained into a 5 gallon bucket. Problem is when the machine is OFF overnight it is filling the bucket up and running over, creating a mess to say the least. Doesn't seem to be any leaking while the machine is ON. The machine is a refurb and has been in use at work for 6-7 months. I've only been there 2 months and asked them if it has been backflushed and they have no idea what the process is or what it involves. Could dirty group valves cause leaking like this? The last few weeks I have started a backflushing regimen. How often should this be done with Cafiza? With just water? We serve anywhere from 25-100 people with espresso based drinks. BTW, this issue was apparent before I started backflushing, which is why I decided to start doing it in the first place. Thanks in advance. Later!
