Looking for a place to stay during GLRBC...

First off I realize that this is pretty short notice, and not the worlds best first post, so I apologize in advance for that.

So I recently confirmed that I will be volunteering at the GLRBC in Milwaukee and am looking for a place to stay for the two nights that I will be there. If anyone has any recommendations for cheap (really cheap) places to stay within walking or public transportation distance of the competition I would really appreciate them.

Also if anyone in the downtown area has an extra couch they might be willing to lend out for two nights I would be eternally indebted. I also contacted a few people on CouchSurfing.org so if any of those people get back I will update this post.
