so I couldn't help but notice when I was at the SERBC this past weekend that the machines being used were not La Marzoccos. I was at first bothered by this because I have a passionate love affair with a pretty sexy Linea at work. But after watching a few rounds and talking to a few people who know whats up when it comes to espresso machines, the Simonelli Aurelia machines being used were performing beautifully and the features and whatnot sound pretty great (since they are going to be used at the WBC for the next 2 years I would hope so).
So I am curious what some of you all think. Have any of you worked extensively with both of these type of machines? What do you like about one or the other? I have always believed that Marzocco is the end of the line when it comes to high quality machines but these Aurelia's may be the next thing... thoughts?
