    Hey Phil.
I had a great day- the cupping is always a good Friday starter. Nice page. Great Rwandans.
  • Phil Proteau

Right on. I saw the video, it looks great. I hope to start the North American trend.
  • Spencer

    Hello Phil -

Glad to see you at BaristaExchange. Are you competing again this year?
  • peg bono

hey Phil..come on up! Although I am about 1-1 1/2 hours from Bethlehem/Easton and about the same distance form you in West Chester... Anyway, if you are near the Poconos, stop up.
  • Ken Hall

Put the machine on the bar, took the photo, took the machine off the bar.
  • Ken Hall

Wow, didn't know you work for Counter Culture. I just had lunch with David Lamont last week.
  • Ron Rogers

Definitely would like to get together and chat. I know about your cuppings, I worked at Milkboy for a little while and know Jesse. I usually work on friday's till noon, maybe next week I can adjust my schedule to make it. Or, we could just meet up some other time for a beer or something.
  • Ken Hall

Are we talking about the same David Lamont? :-)
  • Daniel Gunter

Haha, yeah. I recognized your "face" from flickr. I'm glad to see you on here. Cool stuff.
  • Ron Rogers

i know your at coffeefest this weekend. My schedule is open all next week though if you want to get together or if you're having a cupping.
  • Jason Dominy

Phil, it was nice to meet you in DC. Thanks for the clover Misty Valley, and the cool words on coffee in general.
  • Gerra Harrigan

    hi Phil,
it was great hanging out with you in DC...my ankle still hurts but it's getting better...damn high school sports...
Please send the beaker back or let me pick it up at the jam...either that or you have a new vase....talk to you soon,
    Gerra
  • Emma Minigan

Great meeting you. Thanks for the amazing party! A Philly crawl would be amazing and I'm sure is bound to happen!
  • Ken Nye

  • Ken Nye

  • Ron Rogers

Not making it this week, when is the next one at milkboy? Or just closer to the city.
  • Emmy Bean

i packed and shipped your stamp yesterday! let me know if you like it ... and spread the word if you do. :)
  • Kenny Davis

Ya know maybe I'll give that a shot and see what i come up with...hahaha!
  • Jason Dominy

i thought about you yesterday. we got a little of the Misty Valley Biloya. Wow. Still my favorite coffee of all time. Blueberry, blueberry, blueberry.
  • Jason Dominy

You know, it's funny. I thought they were different, but Chad said Misty Valley Biloya, and I didn't really question it. You Clovered the Misty Valley for me in DC, and I we cupped the Biloya before, and I got the same thing, blueberries. Either way, it's the best coffee I have ever had. (At least for me.) So good job Counter Culture....
  • Emma Minigan

Hahahaha aw man, I'm glad someone got a picture of that!!!! That's getting put up in the shop.
  • Tony Riffel

It took me a couple of days to detox, but I'm pretty much back to normal:) I want to make a visit to Philly soon! I keep hearing good things.
  • Rich Futrell

Hey Phil...do you have my chocolates?
  • Melissa (Missy) Gratz

Hey Phil, thanks for everything! I posted all of my trip on facebook, and some of the convention up. I took lots of pics at Counter Culture. Cynthia was very informative, helpful, and passionate! It was great meeting her, and I am so glad we did it! Then my flatmate and I had lunch at Sandwhich and I had the Biloya at 3 Cups (strong blueberry, spices, and clean finish). I liked it a lot. If you are ever up in our area, I'm sure we like to give you a tour...
  • Rich Futrell

Have fun this week in Easton, Phil!
  • Troy Reynard

Hey Phil, thanks for all your work at the jam, we couldn't have done it without you...I also want to see those pictures that Daryn doesn't want to see!
  • Tim Noble

I'll have to witness the lap steel another time- check out my friends' band at cabindogs.com
It was a good couple days, man. I won't soon forget breakfast with Daryn!
I hope that is the last time I say that...
You and your compatriots have an amazing skill set- I constantly learn when you're in the area, so thanks.

  • Tim Noble

    Oh, god, I feel sick.
SBUX bought Coffee Equipment Company, Zander's soul (read the article on Matt Milletto's page for some truly vomit enducing suckup-idity) and probably all the Clover brewers.
It's the curse of the Caragay.
