oh hi. Hmm... I am only a novice and do not have any experience. But, I was hoping to learn about coffee by joining this club^^ So far, I have enjoyed peet's (arabian roast??) But please recommend me any suggestions of beans and roasts and etc, haha (you have 35yrs of experience!!!!!) Thank you :)

I have three different ways I enjoy my coffee at the moment. French press of right now the Esmerelda, La Minita del sol or the Guat. Antigua at the moment. Big fan of the Double E Dancing Goats done by Elvin or Oliver and Machiatto once in a while. Sorry so long!
  • Marie B.

In the morning, I drink my coffee black. I buy my beans online, usually from single origins to try memorize their specific aromatic notes and experiment with different combinations. Right now, I use Costa Rica Tarrazu, Jamaican Blue Mountain, Ethiopia Sidamo and Brazil Yellow Bourbon. Still working on the perfect blend... :o)
Late afternoon, I love to treat myself with a latte or a cappuccino.
    What about you?
  • Jared Gum

    Yeah how about you!
  • Jean

I heart a double shot espresso in the day. Occasionally i would extract my cafe latte with ground coffee beans, honey powder and vanilla beans for some extra complexity and laced with nicely stretched fresh milk. My perfect cuppa would be a "Stylo Mylo" -a double shot espresso (70% Brazilian Arabica & 30% Indonesian Robusta), chocolate extract, milk, grab some ice and a pinch of xanthan gum- Blend!

    Hello steve
    nice to meet you!!
  • Brian

Well Steve, my drink of choice is definitely a 6 oz. single cappuccino although a good one is very hard to find. I've thrown out too many lately... Maybe that's the problem with working with good coffee... It's just so much harder to be satisfied.

Although, the payoff is grand... :)

And I'm very partial to Batdorf & Bronson's coffee (based in Olympia WA).

How about you? Drink of choice? Best Bean?
