  • Alun Evans

Been open a while here now...up to around 70 stores. We (the Independents) can not complain... there was no specialty movement in Indonesia before. its not like NZ or Aussie where Starbucks were late and got canned like a naughty school boy! They have helped with developing the market here, we need to say thanks to them for that. In Italy the general concensus there was Howard Schultz was an enemy of the state (due to his comments earlier in the year where he said Starbucks Coffee was better than most Italian blends/brands.... or apparently thats what he said?!)
