If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
About Me:
I live on the east coast of Canada with my wife Beverly.
We raised three kids... been blessed with two grand-children.
We have one dog and two cats
I grew up in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada with my sister Evelyn living in our parents home.
Evelyn my wiser and older sister lives in Scarborough. She's the editor of the Thursday File
Our small family moved to the east coast in October, 1988, when I took a job at Co-op Atlantic as Art/Creative Director, then after 13 years with the company I started working on my own from my home studio.
I paint in Watercolour, I publish the 'Thursday File'
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Thanks Steve. If I can contribute as a tea and chai expert, please don't hesitate to ask. Also, please don't hesitate to send any potential coffee suppliers to me who can participate in our new business model, "program T42"
George
At least you have some variety over there. Here in Ireland it just rains and rains and rains. I think if we had 1" of snow here the whole country would stop in its tracks.
Not a problem. One of my greatest friends grew up in Antigonish, NS, and we used to drive through Moncton to get there from Vermont. It's a beautiful neck of the woods, I have to say a piece of me misses the east coast. If you're ever in Wyoming....
Thanks, Steve! I had been Torondo last December and met the blizzard. It was a very NICE memory.
But unfortunately, the coffee I can drink is in the hotel during three weeks, so sad unhh...
I will fly there in next Mar or Apr, maybe you can give me some good advice about coffee shop.
Anyway, I am very flattered by your comment.

Hey Steve!
Thank you for the warm greeting, and if you're ever in Tacoma give us a shout! We're getting more snow today but can't quite compete with you on that one. lol
You Canadians are everywhere Steve. Just had a customer walk in the door here from BC (remember I am in Jakarta, so its not as common as it may sound!)
Yeah! Steve! If Steve is your real name! What is with Canadians being everywhere? I've looong wondered about how such a global coverage by Canadians is possible.
We penguins have sought global supremacy for too long to let you pesky Canadians stand in our way any longer. THE SOUTH POLE SHALL RISE AGAIN!
Thanks for the welcome...we're new to this, but it's great to know we aren't alone. I will be happy to add some more pics as I get used to this network and get some available.
Hey, Steve. It's crazy-cold here in Oklahoma, but unfortunately it's not snowing. Some French press coffee and a book sound really good right now. Enjoy the snow!! --Brooke
Hi Steve
Nice to get connected to people from far off places. I have just looking after a coffee shop in an office space in jakarta. struggling to make standard operating procedure for all functions/domains of running the coffee business
Cheers
Steve, Thanks for the note. My wife and I have been to Beaver Dam many times. Mostly, in the '80s. Now we are about 2.5 hrs. north of there.
Have a Happy Holiday Season.
Bruce
Almost one in the morning and still trying to put toys together for the kids. Should have stayed drinking coffee. Difficult to do this after a few beers.
