It was a custom 50/50 blend of Ethiopia Yergacheffe Beloya Microlot 3 and Brasil Fazenda Cachoiera da Grama roasted by 49th Parallel. The shots made amazing cappuccinos. Super berry, caramel, a lot of jasmine, and vanilla.

  • Luis Zaman

It is killer! I've been playing with different lengths of preinfusion, crazy times. I brought back bags of Herkimer (amazing), Victrola, Stumptown, and Zoka coffee from Seattle. Very caffeinated for sure.
  • Bam

Hi! Thx for the add. Your latte art is beautiful!
  • Bam

That sounds rough, I'm sorry! Are you working in Aberdeen or just from there? What's the coffee scene like there?
  • Luis Zaman

Oh man the coffee was pretty tasty, if you can get your Herkimer espresso out of the States, do it! Sucks about the first job... didn't want to work there anyway. How is the new place going? Hope that one works out man!
  • Chris Tellez

hey man... hows the job hunt going?
  • Chris Tellez

things are awesome.. beenr eally busy with the summer... we had our regional barista championships last month.. i won it! so I get to go to nationals.. super excited, and in a bit of disbelief... but still, super pumped!
  • Bam

I'm in a pretty coffee-centric city which is fun. There are lots of great shops and roasters over here. But you have castles over there. So it's a draw.
  • Bam

The grass is always greener, I guess. Let's set up a roastery in a castle.
