Yup, that's pretty much what I did...phoenix wings, rotated the cup, do the body and finish with the pincher.

BTW your particular scorpion also can pass for a lobster, in which case it would be the best lobster latte art I've seen thus far.

Wow, I've never seen a scorpion done in that matter.

So basically you made some wings, rotated the cup and finished it with the body + stinger.

I've tried doing the scorpion a few times using another method, but the pincers moved too much by the time I rotated the cup to design the body...

Correct me if I'm wrong, by the way, but yeah, the method of closing it out with wings seems like a pretty solid idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
