I am the owner of The Rookery Cafe in Juneau Alaska. We are a cafe and bakery with a full kitchen, beer and wine, and getting into the handmade chocolate business. We are the only location in Alaska serving Stumptown coffee and are proud to serve it.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I have been to Costa Rica, Brazil, Colombia, and Ethiopia, Sumatra and Mexico. I have intrest in returning to central and south america, and I would love to see Peru and Bolivia.
Heading to Nicaragua in October, and thinking about taking 3 - 4 months off in the fall next year to travel around southeast Asia and austrailia.
About Me:
I just turned 30, and 9 days later opened the doors to a cafe of my own. I have been in the industry for nearly 14 years now. I am an active outdoor enthusiast with snowboarding and scuba diving my main intrests, i also love photography for both sports. I play guitar and sing and love hanging out with great friends over dinner and drinks. I drink black coffee, 5 oz vanilla soy lattes, or espresso with a dash of sugar. And whiskey.
About My Company:
The Rookery Cafe opened its doors for business on November 1st, 2010. We are located in the Historic Valentines Building in downtown Juneau AK. The Birdman of Alcatraz was arrested upstairs.

Travis,
HI! I'm always on the lookout for sources, especially "local"! I took a look at your website (I must admit ours is in production so not yet up and running) and see you carry coffee, of course, and equipment/retail items. Our address is 1755 Westwood Way #2, Fbks. 99709.
Stay warm! It's 10 below today in town, 18 above at my house in the hills above Fairbanks. Sheri
Hey Travis, thats great. Lets keep in touch. I have a bit going on in Singapore at present, so am spending quite a bit of time there. We could meet up there or if you have some time while you are in Sumatra, would love to say hi!
really awesome to have met you. as always, i only wish there was more time! the weekend was a blur, and i hope i can remember enough to take some lessons from it.

ps- i made some drinks using your espresso on the machine in the lobby for folks and they all had good things to say about it. keep it up!
