About Me:
I started working in the industry as a coffee pourer, there was not much in the way of specialty coffee at the time. I was lucky to land my first job working for Bill and Charlie Fishbein at the Coffee Exchage in Providence. Bill went on to start Coffee Kids and Charlie still runs his very cool cafe on Wickenden Street. During college I worked for Coffee Connection and had the opportunity to work for and train with Mr. Howell. I did what most kids do with a major in English and moved to NYC and started cutting hair. After 8 years as a hairdresser I decided to call it quits and landed a job with an old friend who had just started his own roastery. 5 years later we are a happily growing company trying to elevate coffee here on the East Coast.
