This year I'm combining my passion for coffee with my new hobby, crochet. I will make something each day that is coffee-related.

If you would like to follow along my learning journey you can check it out here.

Besides coffee cozies and bar towels, what else could I make that would be useful for baristas? Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks, Oscar. I'll see what I can come up with.

Cool, if you manage to get texts or logos looking good, then I think there would be a market!  :-)  I would be interested.

Similar stuff for Inspiration?

Carafe's and french presses need cozies too. :)

As far as the whole bean sacks...you're right.

I suppose I was conjuring up an idea based on burlap sacks that greens come in...

*shrugs*

And, waist aprons...pink and white borders with some frilly flower design would be perfect. Glad I don't work for the shop that makes those mandatory.

If I had the super power of crocheting...I would probably just make a bunch of useless cosmetic stuff that technically had no purpose, but I would lie and say it did. (i.e. carafe sleeves/covers, barista gauntlets, etc)

Yes, seriously. Amazing what coffee can help accomplish.

1. Scarves with the company logo colors, love this.

2. I have already made one so far but am still in the process of different styles.

3. I made a market type bag as the carry out bag for buying coffee bags. But I like your idea better. Only concern is wouldn't the coffee begin to go stale faster unless you immediately put the coffee into a sealed storage container?

4. I'll begin working on some "manly" scarves as well.

5. Waist aprons or full size? haha Pink with a white frilly border girly enough?

Whoa seriously?

It would take me 365 days just to make a bar towel...you're gonna make something PER day?

Sick.

My suggestions:

1. Scarves for the company you own/work for/or a companies you support

2. Tamp sheath/carrying pouch

3. Re-usable sacks for people to buy whole-beans in

4. A scarf for me cause it's 0 degrees here and I'm dyin

5. The most girly aprons ever, mandatory for the male employees to wear.
