RoastLog vs Cropster?

We've been wanting to add a profile monitoring system like Roastlog or Cropster to our roaster. We gave both a good look at Expo last week but am still not quite sure which direction to go. There seems to be more similarities than differences.

Our primary uses would be for roast logging and profile monitoring. The cupping feature on Cropster would be useful, but it looks like Roastlog is working on that also.

Any opinions about preferences, functionality, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Chad

Colombia Los Cauchos

Colombia Los Cauchos

San Augustino Forest, Huila region

Acid: Medium High

Body: Full

Texture: Sweetened Gingerbeer and cola

Flavor Profile: classic “Diner Coffee” profile. Slightly spicy, very sweet and texturally rooty, with big body and good balance. Almost cherry cola-like, if the cherry wasn’t too over the top. The textural body is similar to Gingerbeer without being overly barky or spicy. Caramel flavors carry through a fairly juicy finish.

Noteworthy: San Augustino forest resides at 1730 to 2000 meters in the Huila region. Designated as a World Heritage Site due to the presence of Pre-Colombian sites and artifacts. Los Cauchos features Caturra and Colombia cultivars, is 100% washed, fully patio sun dried and carries both Rain Forest Alliance and C.A.F.E. Practices certifications.
