Thanks Steve. I signed up here mostly so I could read my friend Von's blog while he's away in South Africa. He's the owner of Bisogno, my favourite coffee shop. Check him out (Von Flores). And stop by the cafe next time you're in Toronto. :-)

Thanks! Wow, talk about a whirl-wind weekend. I have just worked 60 hours in the cafe since Friday night... just getting back to check this. I mentioned that I joined to a roaster that came to drop off a delivery to me at my second job and he was really happy to hear I'm getting more and more opportunities to explore what I love to do.

Steve.... thanks for the contact earlier. Went to your Thursday site and enjoyed both the graphics and content. At a tradeshow a couple years back, I was standing in a neighboring booth with a friend who's from Vancouver, BC. A woman comes up to us, looks at his badge with name and company location, and in all seriousness, asks him; "So...you're from Canada, eh? You speak Canadian, right?" I started to laugh, but when I saw she was serious, broke in and said, "Well, yes, he does, but I can translate if that'll help?" Soooooooo, and seriously, you DO speak Canadian, right?
  • lucie
